Short campout to Busher SP

The Grand-ma and family where going to stay at busher and we told them we where camping with them Sharon was very happy the spots they have there for campers does not accommodate tents so we had to get our own spot so Sharon got us a site that look lose to 8 but it sure was a hike to set up so I took 61 close to the road the tent sites are so much better Sam and I drove by when we stay in Bastrop and we did not like the RV sites but we both agree tents had the best I would like to come back and stay in a tent with the kids they sure did not had many caches we are going to have to place one here the lake was too low and fish where not biting maybe it was the plastic lure my fish reel had who knows we did had a great time I took the top rain from my tent and we where watching the stars Matt spotted a satellite great times

Dinosaur Valley SP

Just got back from camping at dinosaur valley, the drive is long we left the house at 7:30 stopped for gas and lunch, it was exiting to finally get there. as we are turning there is a place with more then 100 dinosaurs kids want to stop and check it out told them we had to set up the camper and then will see got to the park got a site I taught it will be booked by the time we get there after all we did got the last spot so they said as we are driving lots of sites open we picked 24 then change to 26 the place was muddy it had been raining we had to move to site 17 looked open plenty of space for the kids to play little did we know ???? took us a wile to set up chill and have a drink kids found the river right behind our site looks awesome Sunday I did my run as always it was great love it it was quite no one out yet found a trail the lead right to 17 we try our new camp chef stove and the griddle the stove worked great one burner the griddle got every thing stuck on it took longer to clean it then cook then we head out to find a cache we had to go across the river and up and up if we only would have known there where some trails up there we found the first the kids are tire and ready to get in the water witch was very cold we found tracks 4 and 3 they sure had a great time they wanted to swim so they try I think this is not a place to swim maybe to lay down and let the water pass that look fine to me not right now it was too cold for it maybe next trip kids made new friends and played with them they sure had a great time the traffic that comes Thu the camping area got busy right after 6 we found out is because the tourist that are taking pictures of the dinosaurs inside the park and checking out the foot prints where coming and checking out the sites and about that time is when the kids play with we sure did had a great time kids still want to came back maybe when is a bet hot

We like camping here you can say is one of our favorites short trips I was trying to get the site we like but some one had already taken it it sure look different from the last time we where here so we where force to take a different one it was a very good one and we found a place for the kids to play with the water when is warm have the kayak and Sam can go fishing I could just seat and watch my kids it looks like we will be coming back here more often it has the feeling of being in Lake Texana but closer did not see any snakes it was cold and rainy we have to come back and do some of the trails the lake that once was full now is empty kids like this place very much so do we Mr Ethan fall back and burn his right hand he is fine now the DR said it was a second degree burn
